Climate protection high on the agenda

Integrated climate strategies, the expansion of renewable energy, more footpaths and cycle ways: these are the priorities of the Alpine towns of the year as regards climate protection. Below is a summary of the results of an analysis from the Alpstar project.

Alpine towns and businesses create the climate

The end of January 2014 saw mayors, large and small companies, climate representatives and NGOs discussing new approaches to climate protection in the Swiss town of Brig-Glis, with the Alpine-wide Alpstar project also offering impetus. Interviews with experts and participants can now be heard.
